What is MicroVPS?

What is a VPS server?
VPS means Virtual Private Server: a virtual server with its own CPU, memory and disk. At MicroVPS virtualization is KVM, with root access, static IPv4 and IPv6, so you can install Linux, BSD or Windows and run sites, APIs, panels and automations.
Are MicroVPS servers in Brazil?
Yes. Servers are in Brazil, in a datacenter in the São Paulo and Osasco area, with low local latency, static IPv4, IPv6 and AntiDDoS included.
What is the difference between Xeon VPS and Ryzen VPS?
Xeon: more memory (up to 96 GB RAM) and stability for databases, panels, containers and multiple services. Ryzen 9: more CPU (games, bots and high compute). Pick what the project needs.
Do I get root access on the VPS?
Yes. Every plan includes root access, KVM virtualization, a dedicated IP and a panel to reinstall the OS, manage firewall and restore backups. You can install Linux, BSD or Windows Server.
Which operating systems can I install on the VPS?

Which virtualization is used?
KVM (Kernel-based Virtual Machine), with real hardware isolation. Nested virtualization is on: you can run Docker and other VMs inside the server.
Is port 25 (SMTP) blocked?
Port 25 is blocked by default to protect IP reputation against spam. Sending through Amazon SES, Mailgun, SendGrid or Postmark still works. If the project needs port 25 on the server IP, open a ticket describing the use so we can review an unblock.
Can I use the VPS for GRE tunnels or proxy?
No. The VPS cannot be used for tunnels (GRE, WireGuard, IPIP, OpenVPN and similar) or as a proxy to shield servers on other infrastructure.
Is there a lock-in or extra traffic fee?
No. Plans are monthly, prepaid, with no lock-in and unmetered traffic. Larger plans jump from 1 Gbps to 2 Gbps.
Can I change plans after ordering?
Yes. You can request a resource upgrade in the panel or with support, subject to cluster availability.
What payment methods do you accept?

How do I access the VPS control panel?
After ordering you access the account panel. From there you reinstall the OS, view metrics, manage the firewall and restore backups.
